BLT stands for Basic Linux Training, a free online training course for Linux produced and conducted by Henry White. (See

.) At least at the beginning, it is fairly basic. (Is that a tautology?

"See BLT" As A Disclaimer
Pages that say "See
BLT" were created as a result of my participation in the course.
The course requires that each participant develop a glossary of about 250 terms during the course. These pages are starting out as my attempt to define those terms in my own words, and may not be totally correct. (I may create other pages in the same spirit and use the same "See
BLT" marker as a disclaimer, although maybe that is the disclaimer that goes without saying for any
WikiLearn page.)
Hopefully, over time, I will learn enough and be diligent enough to make the definition totally correct, and easy to understand for beginners and more experienced persons. (Maybe even two separate definitions on each page.)
I am using my own words intentionally to stimulate my learning / memory and sometimes because I am too lazy to go look for a definition -- especially if I think I already have a reasonable understanding of the term. Sometimes attempting to write a definition leads me to realize I need to look it up, and, in any case, helps me learn.
