I moved this add-on out of
TablePluginDev into an
AddOnPackage. Frank, could you fill in the missing details in
CopyMsOfficeTableAddOn?

Ok. I will also translate the help file.

Would it be possible to be more specific where the files go and how to call them. e.g. How does one call
CopyTWiki.exe? (If they're supposed to go in /twiki, then I'll have to ask my administrator because I don't have write priviliges to that directory) Thanks

You only need CopyTWiki.exe this is the Program file the rest is sorcecode. Put the file where ever you want.

What would I need to compile the source? If I can get up to speed, I'd love to fiddle with this.

I use Delphi 4 to compile the sorce.

This is a really neat application, both in terms of idea and implementation. Well done and thankyou Frank.
One thing I would recommend: more obvious menus, or a notice on the LHS saying "right click on the cells to interact."
Also, I would have expected ctrl-v to do a paste but instead it gives me a confusing error message.

This neat little application would be really nice if it could handle "new line" within a word table. As it works now it creates a new cell for each new line within an original cell. It should turn those into <br />.

Sorry i think it is impossible make a new line with a break when copying word table with word wrapping....
In the next version it will be soon i will try to improve the pasting. And ad a notice. I will also inplement the ^ symbol for merging cells.
If there are more wishes schout. I'm also working on a native Linux version but the binary is getting very big when i compile it.... And I don't know if there is any interest in a native Linux version.....

Anyone have any idea why i get an "Access violation at address 00448127 in module 'CopyTwiki.exe'. Read of address 000001F0" when i try and paste into the program? At first i thought it was maybe something to do with office 2003, but it happens even if i make a table in the program and then copy and try to paste it back in.
I am using Windows XP Pro with SP2, but not sure why that should matter. Is there any supporting libraries that are needed that i could be missing?

Ok found some sort of problem. It seems that Ctrl-V doesn't work unless you right click and paste first, after that it seems to work with no problems. Something to maybe look out for in the next version. For now it's usable though.

I added a SHORTDESCRIPTION to the "Add-On Info" section so that this add-on is represented properly in the
AddOnPackage topic and query topics. Please feel free to take this into the next release.
