Feedback on ExtendedSelectPlugin

-- EricSchwertfeger - 11 Oct 2005

Thanks Eric for sharing this Plugin with the TWikiCommunity! Plugins are growing very quickly, we have now over 180 Plugins.

I made some cosmetic changes to the Plugins topic, please feel free to take that into the next release.

How about measuring and documenting the PluginBenchmarks?

Great plugin! It would be useful though, to have a more advanced multiselect. For an example, see http://verens.com/archives/2005/04/27/son-of-multiselect/

The normal HTML multiselect is very impractical for a wiki: Many 'normal' users don't get the Ctrl-part or simply overlook it, thereby deselecting everything that others had selected.

Yes, I would agree that that would be am improvement.

From ExtendingFormControls it seems that the logic to add such functionality is already in place, so it should be relatively "easy" to integrate son-of-multiselect or similar code. Unfortunately I am not very familiar with either Perl or Javascript...
