Katepart Highlighting Add-On

This add-on provides a syntax highlighting definition of TWiki syntax for all katepart based KDE editors (kwrite, kate, ...).

Features:

  • Colors sections, verbatim, list bullets, variables, links, ...
  • Simple code folding for sections.

It is based on the HTML syntax highlighting which comes with KDE, so you will have "normal" HTML highlighting as well.

Usage

  • Edit your TWiki pages with any KDE editor which uses the katepart (e.g. kwrite or kate).
  • To do so, either use mozex in Mozilla / Firefox or use edittwiki.
  • Activate the highlighting in, e.g. kwrite, via the menu:
    Tools -> Highlighting -> Markup -> TWiki

Add-On Installation Instructions

Just place the file into the directory of the katepart syntax definitions.

  • For single user installation: create the syntax dir (mkdir -p ~/.kde/share/apps/katepart/syntax/) and put the file in there.
  • Installation for all users: put the file in the /.../share/apps/katepart/syntax/ directory of your KDE installtion (e.g. /usr/kde/3.5/share/apps/katepart/syntax/).

Add-On Info

  • Set SHORTDESCRIPTION = TWiki Syntax highlighting for all katepart based KDE editors (kwrite, kate, etc.)
