Not to rain on your parade, but what advantages does this have over FormattedSearch?

Don't know, I have to look into Formatted search. It did seem like a commonly needed item and I was suprised it did not already exist. Maybe it did.

Not too much it seems. Formatted search did not exist when I wrote mine (or at least was not in the Twiki source I downloaded).
