Set Variable Add-On

The script is called 'setvar' which is put in the bin directory. It is used to set those '* SET VARIABLES = ...'

It allows us to use textfields/lists/buttons in a form to set the variables (instead of editing & saving the page).

Add-On Installation Instructions

Note: You do not need to install anything on the browser to use this add-on. The following instructions are for the administrator who installs the add-on on the server where TWiki is running.

  • Download the ZIP file from the Add-on Home (see below)
  • Unzip SetVariableAddOn.zip in your twiki installation directory. Content:

  • Test if the installation was successful:
    • describe, with example
