Adding a user (or group) to a Linux system:

GUI tools:

• userdrake (just like what you used when you installed Mandrake)
• linuxconf

Relevant files (that you might edit by hand):

• /etc/passwd
• /etc/shadow
• /etc/group
• /etc/gshadow.
