E-MAIL MESSAGES BACKUP
This may be a bit trickier, then making a
backup of your e-mail addresses. First you have to determine if you are saving your e-mail messages on your own computer or on your e-mail ISP's computer. Then you have to find out what the three digit extension is for your e-mail message files that are stored on your own hard drive and this will depend again on your e-mail ISP provider.
You can also search the newsgroups to see if anyone else with the same ISP as you, has received instructions on how to do this. (Google has the "groups" tab).
Another option to
backup your e-mail messages is to always copy your whole e-mail message when you receive it, open your word processing program, paste and save them in a file folder on top of your desktop. It depends on the information in your e-mail message and how important it is to save a copy of it.
Again you can always use the help function inside of your e-mail program, or ask your e-mail ISP for instructions.
