USING BACKUP SYSTEM MANANGEMENT PROGRAMS
The term
backup is making a copy of your computer information. You can think of it as a lifesaver when your computer system decides to stop working for one reason or another. There are several items you should
backup on a regular basis. Also if you have enough resources such as a cd burner, or lots of floppies, you should make rotating
backups , once a week, or once a month depending on how much you use your system. If something happens to your
backup information, you have another
backup to use which is still contains relatively current information about your computer system. Also you should make sure you have made current
backup of all important items before you do any kind of major upgrade on your computer system. Many people also keep these
backups in another location just in case your house burns to the ground, or goes to the land of Oz and lands on a wicked witch. Click on the links below to find out more about
backups .
