Slackware is one of the early Linux distributions that many hackers favor. Vector (CFK) is based on Slackware, thus packages for Slackware might work on Vector.

Note: ap1/raidtool.tgz might be the package for the raidtools, not sure how to download it by itself -- only place I found it listed in anyway was on a changelog
