I'm starting to see references to a wheel group in Linux (where group is the name of a thing that has a GID). It seems to be mentioned often in regard to security issues, and it seems like a select group that has more privileges than the standard user. So, I'm guessing maybe it comes from a concept like "big wheels" meaning big shots?
