Development discussion for SmiliesPlugin

-- AndreaSterbini - 27 Feb 2001

I would like to turn off the plugin on a per-user basis. I'm having the same problem VickiBrown described (on 16 Dec 2004, heh). Little help here?

-- RobertDeForest - 09 Feb 2006

I think for Cairo codebase it is possible with a DISABLEDPLUGINS = SmiliesPlugin setting in the user home page. Not sure if there is a way in Dakar though.

ChuckBiggs added :2thumbs: (:2thumbs:) and  (). We should take this back into the release.

Also, the Plugin topic here has still the old Cairo version. It needs to be updated (Cairo/Dakar compatible.)

-- PeterThoeny - 04 May 2006

 isn't rendered correctly in the %PLUGINDESCRIPTIONS% on InstalledPlugins cause there has been a slight modification in Dakars "word end" detection algorithm (due to performance considerations (if I remember correct)).

I think the SmiliesPlugin page needs a ?cmd=delRev

Thanks. I fixed the topic text and filed Bugs:Item3458.
