Here we chat about the SuggestLinksPlugin.

Idea:

• By using the format $text we get rid of all WikiWord formatting ... but at a very heavy expense!

Yes, this is cool. A possible future enhancement might be to automatically create the suggested link with the syntax [[TopicName][words in text to link]] with a simple means to accept or reject it. (Accepting it would incorporate the link into the topic's text, rejecting it would not.)

I guess this would not be easy without the Java(script?) editor, still, it's nice to dream.

Looked again today (28 Nov 2001), and you're closer than I realized. (I hadn't moused-over the large exclamation point in your example.)

Sometimes the plugin complained for an undefined $query, now it fails gracefully (updated).

Did you abandon this plugin? It seems a good idea but is no longer installed on your site, Andrea.
