Question

For some reason, I am not able to find out how to enable access control to subwebs and topics.

MainWeb? -> Topic1 -> Topic2 -> Topic3 etc

I have something like the above. In the web preferences, if I "Set DENYWEBVIEW = Main.User1", it works. But I am not sure how to represent it for a topic.

I tried to add %TOPIC1%.User1, but it is not able to understand.

Similarly, I went to the Topic 1 -> More Topic Actions -> Preferences and did "Set DENYWEBVIEW = User1", but still it doesn't work. It also doesn't save the configuration.

In the above hierarchy, I want to deny access (all view, change and rename) to Topic1 to certain users. How do I do this?

Thanks
