Question

I have just installed twiki (from the download files, not using apt-get), and everything seemed to go smoothly right up until after the configuration.

After running through configuration, and correcting the errors I attempted to access the /bin/view page. The page loads, but has no style information and not much functionality - clicking on any links causes the url to turn into the absolute path, e.g.:

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/twiki/bin/view -> Click register -> http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/var/www/twiki/bin/view/TWiki/TWikiRegistration

I am pretty sure ive done something daft with my paths, but the ones on configure seem fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, according to the TWikiOnDebian page, its possible to isntall using "apt-get install twiki". This doesnt seem to work at the moment, even when I use the testing repositories.

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x04
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Debian Sarge
Web server: Apache 2.0.54
Perl version: 5.8.4
Client OS: Windows XP
Web Browser: IE
Categories: Installation
