Question

I'm having trouble figuring out what should be a simple issue with ChecklistPlugin. I have a working application using ChecklistPlugin where the checklist exists in one topic and is INCLUDEd in others. The checklists in the individual topics all work perfectly.

Now I'm trying to build a much more simple application: I want to create a topic with one checklist item, with only two states. I want to INCLUDE that topic in my (and eventually everyone's) LeftBar, to create a In/Out system.

I thought it should be pretty simple and allow me to use SEARCH to create an In/Out Board that the various receptionists could look at to see if folks are in. But I can't even get the checklist item to behave the way I think it should.

It works on the topic that contains the checklist. It works in my LeftBar IF I happen to be viewing the topic in which the checklist exists. But if I'm viewing any other topic, the topic reloads after a very long delay, with the CSS styles all wrong and looking sort of like a mixed-up Printable view. The checklist item's state does not get changed.

Am I missing something obvious?
