Question

compare two text files and highlate differences in some color(like compare it tool).can anyone suggest me how 2 do it?

Of course TWiki has a built-in display of differences between versions, but that leverages RCS. I gather you are interested in comparing two arbitrary files.

On a desktop, I use WinMerge smile . But if you're looking for a server-based solution, you might have to write your own. You might get some ideas on that from reading these:
