Question

I have installed Twiki 4.2.0 on a Solaris 10 x86 box. Twiki is running, however when ever I try to save a page through the editor I get the following error:

TWiki detected an internal error - please check your TWiki logs and webserver logs for more information.

Can't locate object method "xml_mode" via package "TWiki::Plugins::WysiwygPlugin::HTML2TML"

I have tried to install HTML::Parser trhough MCPAN and manually but get a make error and "can't find file or directory" parser.o

Any help would be appreciated.

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

Unfortunately HTML::Parser is a required component. I haven't heard of any other Solarians have problems with it, though, so maybe it's just your install. Try googling for anyone with similar experiences.
