Question

Is the google AJAX search on the TWiki site indexing on the TWiki server - or on google's end. I am concerned to try this out if Google is indexing the results due to privacy reasons.

Thanks!

-Brian

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

The Google AJAX search is is twiki.org specific. Yes, Google indexes twiki.org, therefore the Google AJAX search can be done on twiki.org.

For your own behind firewall TWiki installation you can rely on TWiki's internal search, or optionally install one of the search extensions, Tag:search
