Question

How can I have Twiki open up to a specified page within a specific web when going to the main url - for example -

If the url is abc.com I'd like it to open to http://abc.com/twiki/bin/view/Sandbox/SteveAbc

Thank You Steve

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

There's instructions for doing this by definiting a "redirect" within the root-htaccess.txt sample htaccess file included in the TWiki distribution.

An alternative is to use an html page with a <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="20; url=/cgi-bin/view/Main/WebHome"> in the head section. See attached index.html as an example.
