Question

I've created a comment template for capturing user input. How can I make some fields of the comment template mandatory so that the user is unable to submit the comment form with an empty field. I tried to validate my comment template fields via a Java Script function that I downloaded from the following site:

http://www.javascript-coder.com/html-form/javascript-form-validation.phtml

But CommentPlugin writes the comment without validation.
