Issues In Using Form And Search For Project Weekly Report
Hi, I'm using Form to implement Project Weekly Report automatization. I have done as follows:
- Create a ProjectWeeklyReportForm
- Second line managers create a topic with the ProjectWeeklyReportForm, and then they write project progress there.
- First line managers can see a "ProjectsWeeklyReportView" Table. The table list all the projects of which they are the first line managers. The project list in the table is automatically generate by "formatted search" from the "ProjectWeeklyReportForm".
- User-friendly: easy to edit, view.
- Now we can use it freely to see current reports.
- If first line managers want to see all the reports last week (an old version of reports) consolidated to display in one table, they can not see them automatically, because "search" can not search old version.
- We can not use "search" to extract "form value" which are written like this:
[[URL][value]] or %TOPIC%
Is there any way to solve them or other good methods to implement
ProjectWeeklyReport? ?
Thanks very much.

If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.
For us to best assist you on this, you could try setting up a minimal example in the
Sandbox web, allowing us to inspect your usecase and possibly "fill in the blanks".

I want to use a special form template for my project, would you please
add "ProjectWeeklyReportForm" in the WebPreferences for me? thanks a lot

I have added the form to
WebPreferences.
If you need other forms along the way you can just add a WEBFORMS variable directly to the topic that needs the form.
