I am looking to convert some old .pdf files to the word format, so I can use the
Word2TWiki? macro to translate the .pdf document into TWiki markup language. Any ideas on a free software that I could use to do this? I saw a bunch that were free trials online, but I figured I would ask here before considering purchasing such software.
Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know the answer. But just a thought. If such a program would exist server-side, we could also do TWiki -> MS Word (via PDF, already possible). Now
that would help corporate adoption!

Hi Brian, better ask your question in a more related forum. This support is about TWiki and not about 3rd party software.
If you have just a few pdf to convert why not try a demo version...

Wouldn't it be better to search for a way to convert those old PDFs to HTML or plain text in order to bring them into TWiki instead of going the long way round (you don't need the head- and footlines, do you?)? There are great and free PDFto(La)Text resp.
PDFtoHTML tools out there. Just my two cents.

Check also the converters that come with the
SearchEnginePluceneAddOn. You might be able to use the PDF to HTML converter that comes with it.
