Question

I want to change some settings using configure but the two things I need to change "Environment variables" and "CGI Setup" are both marked Read Only and I can't for the life of me figure out how to chnage that.

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x04
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Linux (CentOS 4.3)
Web server: apache 1.3
Perl version: v5.8.5
Client OS: Windows XP SP2
Web Browser: Flock (Mozilla)
Categories: Permissions

anyone? I still cannot edit cgi-setup and environment variables. both are marked Read Only

I'm not sure but I believe that those settings have to be set outside of TWiki - that is, in your server setup.

You can do that on the Apache config level with a SetEnv directive, see http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_env.html
