I am discovering that the highlighted "today" in the Calendar plugin is based on how twiki is configured, not the server time like the plugin documentation.
"Server timezone" is listed as the default for the gmtoffset option in the documentation.
On my twiki server, %SEVERTIME% shows the correct localtime, but %DISPLAYTIME% shows gmt because twiki is configured to display in gmt (not servertime). Based on the Calendar plugin gmtoffset documentation, I was assuming that the gmtoffset was looking at the servertime (and not how twiki was configured). Once I adjust gmtoffset to -5 (for EST timezone), then the highlighted "today" is correct in the calendar.
I noticed I haven't asked a question yet...are my assumptions correct? Should the Calendar plugin documentation point this out more clearly and the gmtoffset default be changed? The gmtoffset appears to be 0 (at least when twiki is configured for gmt time display).
