Question

Is there a simple way to work with topic names using spaces instead of WikiWord notation? What I want is that if I use the variable 'TOPIC' the topic name is displayed with spaces. This is also very important for the page title. As far as I know Google doesn't understand WikiWords... However, the URL should cotain underscores instead of spaces. I am testing twiki and I have been searching for hours to find a simple solution. Maybe someone can at least tell me that there is no way to do this.

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease01Sep2004

Server OS: Debian
Web server: Apache 1.3
Perl version: 5.6.1
Client OS: Windows XP
Web Browser: Firefox 1.0

Answer

UnderscoreWikiWords is the proposal to enable this.

If you have SpreadSheetPlugin installed you could experiment with using the PROPERSPACE function in the template to format the title tag.

See also SpacedWikiWordPlugin for a more general solution.

Perhaps you don't want to have to litter your topics with PROPERSPACE all over the place.
