Question

It seems ChildTopicTemplatePlugin does not work for TWikiRelease04x02x00. Can anybody help? The variables are sometimes replaced, sometimes not - depending on spaces inside the command. Anyway, the commands don't have any effect.

I do not want to use TopicCreatePlugin because the sub-topics should be created manually (lazily, on demand).
Is there some workaround, or can I use a different plugin for that purpose?

Thanks, Alex

I found out that placing two CHILDTOPICTEMPLATE variables in the same line causes trouble. But still it does not work. The created templates still use the default topic template. frown Any ideas?

It seems that this plugin needs to be updated for 4.2. You should also submit a bug report like TWikibug:Item763. The plugin has a PleaseFeelFreeToModify policy. I guess the problem is due to the modified handling of whitespaces in 4.2 but I'm no programmer.

Can anybody tell me what needs to be done to make ChildTopicTemplatePlugin work for TWikiRelease04x02x00? Then I can give it a try if I find time for it.

Alex did seemingly find another solution that doesn't need CTTP so I'm sorry this will stay unanswered. Feel free to reopen, create a bug item or file a feature request.
