Feedback on MikebSkin

-- MikeBarton - 05 Jul 2001

Looks nice. A small suggestion: It is better to avoid new directories like pub/skins/mikeb/, the preferred way is to attach image files to the Skin topic as described in SkinPackagingHowTo.

-- PeterThoeny - 06 Jul 2001

I updated the MikebSkin.zip file after having corrected the location of the skin image files.

-- MikeBarton - 07 Jul 2001

DavidLeBlanc mentioned in UseScriptSuffix that the Mikeb skin should have the SCRIPTSUFFIX variable appended to all TWiki script references. This is for cross-platform compatibility.

Mike,

You wrote above
The drop-down list for the webs is hard-coded in the view.mikeb.tmpl. This should be updated to use the new TopicListAndWebListVariable syntax once it is available so that each time a new web is added, the template does not need to be edited.

Any plans to update the template to add this support?

I had to change the view-template a little bit and changed the edit-URL using the EDITURL-Variable, because I got some problems editing old versions by accident.
