Sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it.
I have folllowed
PeterThoeny's advice on duplicating the Support Web application for our own use when he answered
this question, but I have obviously missed something and I can't figure it out.
The 'Ask a question' page comes up OK, and the support topic is created with the autoincrement name.
Problem: Any of the queries to see existing questions return 0 results.
Problem: The only data being updated in the
SupportForm table is the 'Last Update' field
Problem: If I try to add a comment, the comment is added to the topic, but all spaces are converted to "%20"
Problem: If I try to change the status, a comment entry is made but I see no meta data added to the topic with any status entries (is this how the queries work?)
I have attached a typical example of a topic that has had a few comments added and an attempt to change the status.
Thanks in advance

Discussion and Answer
It seems in
EngineRoom there is an outdated version. The right place to start is in
SupportForumMaintenance
Be careful when downloading the raw view. Going too fast may ban you off the site. One topic at the time.

Thanks Enrique, but perhaps I should have mentioned that I saw that and had followed the instructions to use the
SupportForumMaintenance page instead....
I think I have recreated all the topic pages referred to there, and tried to set all the parent/child relationships the same, etc. I have added the comment template stuff too, but somewhere something has gone screwy.
I suspect I have misunderstood the comment template instructions, but after triple checking everything I don't know where to look next.

After you clone all the topics in
SupportForumMaintenance
- Register SupportForm in WebPreferences
- Attach SupportForm to WebTopicEditTemplate
- Create a SupportCommentTemplate also in TWiki web
Previous versions required comment templates to be in TWiki web. Also in previous versions vars like SYSTEMWEB and USERWEB had other names. So check they exists in your TWiki installation (I dont remember now when they changed). Your version of TWiki is a little outdated. If you can update things would work better.

If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
