Question
Hi,
I have seen response times like this
Time elapsed: 3.822 s
on other web-software. You can get this from databases to find out how long (exactly) it took to execute the query.
Is there a plugin or a variable to enable this feature in TWiki?
This would enable everyone to evaluate the speed of a TWiki.

You can use any number of tools to measure the performance. Here are some:

Thanks for the fast answer. I meant to ask if it is possible to add the measured time on every TWiki page by TWiki itself...

That can be done faily easily, see related
PluginBenchmarkAddOn. Please note that this does not reflect the exact time because you will miss the cgi call process time and the Perl compile time.

There is an extention for FireFox called FasterFox that has a timer built into it. It display the page load time fro the dispatch click to the end of the rendering. Yes, this means there is the overhead of the browser rendering included, but that's small by comparison.
