Question

How come the Text Formatting Rules in my installation are different from the official ones? In particular I can't either find the nested brackets syntax for specific links in the documentation or make it work. I've just installed straight from twiki.org. Thanks .

Answer

This instalation is running an experimental release of the TWiki, for those rules to be used you'll have to wait until the TWikiReleaseSpring2001 is out, or just install the corresponding patches/alpha/beta release.

question

I have the same issue, as we want to display a lot of xml code. as far as I understand, the way to go is <verbatim> which needs a release bigger that dec2000,isnt it ? also, as spring2001 is going to summer2001, is there any way to just a cvs out ? is that reasonably stable ?

You can use the latest Beta 15 Mar 2001 which is stable and can be used in a production environment (we do it at work with over 500 users). I will send you a separate e-mail.
