Question

We have installed a wiki Server but the performance is not as good as we thought it would be.

Can anybody tell me different possibilities for a better performance?

I think FastCGI is not useable, but we have not tested it!

Answer:

(Moved this from the TWiki web, was submitted as an FAQ.)

Use mod_perl to get a performance increase of around 10-fold.

See ModPerl for some more info on this.

We also did TWikiOnWindowsWithPerlEx? . It seemed to work though we did not do any comprehensive testing.
