The attached HTML's show the differences between the documentation shipped with Cairo (best guess) and the documentation currently in TWiki web.

To determine what changed in the doc set on TWiki.org we have to guess what the baseline document was. This is because Cairo was generated by a manual copy of the docs (with a manual edit) into a new, hidden web. The docs on twiki.org and the docs used for Cairo are mutant crossbreeds of eachother.

The best we can do is to establish the differences between the latest docs on twiki.org and the rev of those docs that existed at the time Cairo was released.

So, for each doc, we:

• get the cairo rev of the doc from a local Cairo install
• determine what the date of that rev is
• get the # of the rev of the doc at that date from twiki.org TWiki web
• diff that rev against the latest rev on TWiki.org

Ahem, why "best guess" on the diffs? If you used the Cairo docs from the zip and the current TWiki.org docs you get the exact diff. As mentioned in DakarDocumentationModelIsBroken, the docs in TWiki.org's TWiki web and the Beta installation are now in sync (except for TWiki.org specific registration page and WebRss).

Did you browse the topics below? Only released docs are diffed. The best guess was required because I wanted to diff the latest on twiki.org against the version on twiki.org that existed when cairo was made. That's the only way to see the comments people have added since then. It also eliminates the changes introduced by the manual edit to create the Beta web. Presenting the diffs in this way makes them easy to run quickly through and pick out important differences.
