SELinux Problems

SELinux can cause major problems for setting up TWiki. I learned this first hand when pointing fingers at httpd.conf, my ApacheConfigGenerator generated conf, and permissions.

It needs to be disabled for Twiki to work.

Open /etc/selinux/config with your favorite editor. Change the environment variable SELINUX to: SELINUX=disabled

Thanks Mario.

Naturally if someone else have a more detailed method of how to get Apache/TWiki/SElinux setup so it works that would be a good follow up to this topic.

And then, to create a TWikiOnSELinux topic, in line woth other TWikiOn documents.
