I decided that the name was wrong, so I renamed it. There is a mechanism in place to tell you that a page has been renamed, but one can always create a new topic with the same name, as I did here, and thus the redirection information is lost.

Obviously a more realistic example would be if I had put real content related to the topic in it, but hopefully this is sufficient to demonstrate why a real mechanism for renamed topics is necessary.
