Velocigen for Perl is a high-performance Web application server using Perl as its programming language. It features CGI-compatible mode, allowing you to speed up your existing CGI scripts by as much as 20 times without modifying your existing code. You can also use embedded mode, which allows you to embed Perl code within your HTML pages, resulting in dynamic, template-based pages. Standard Perl extensions can be used to access databases, create images on the server and much more. The Linux version is free for non-commercial use.

Feedback, anyone?

a high-perfomance web server using Perl as its programming language sounds very intriuging, but they don't seem to exist anymore. frown
