Some websites, I've noticed, like to manage lists of links and their descriptions in little boxes. MegaTWiki lets you edit lists of links in place, and display each list in a titled box

Feature requirements and implementation coming soon...

I don't understand why there is no support for adding a list of links to the sidebar. I changed the twiki.mega.tmpl to include a %MEGAWEBSIDEBAR%, which is empty by default. For my team, I set it to be a table with interesting links, both internal as external, and it is very useful. I added it between the tree and the toolbox, and added a %TABLE% in front of it so that it would render tables like the other two tables in the sidebar.

Now, it would be nice to make that a list of links, but they are rendered differently and they would clash with the look of the other items in the sidebar. Thoughts?

Not so long ago I was pruposing using TwikiAsDmozReplacment for both personal/colaborattive bookmark managment. Later I found out about DmozCatalogPlugin which was supposed to happened... but developer didn't received any feedback from his intranet users nor there was enough interest in TWiki community to do this.

Personaly I think it would be wonderfull to have a sysrem that can be compatible in some way with DMOZ use of .rdf

Hope PeterNixon will be interested in further developing of this concept (as it seems that Peter gets the work done fast;)!
