Note to TWiki site administrators
TWiki has now a new logo, a big "T" in a speech bubble convenying "working together", with a "collaborate with TWiki" tag line.
A consistent branding is important for the TWiki project. People will recognize a TWiki site immediately if the new logo is used consistently. Therefore, older TWiki brand logos such as teamwork tools logos and logos based on Twiki robot should no longer be used. Of corse, TWiki is open source, so site owners can use the logos at their descretion.
This is a friendly request to increase the exposure and name recognition of TWiki:
If you run a TWiki site and are using older TWiki logos (not your own) we would be very pleased if you change the logo to the new "T" logo. DiscontinueUseOfOldTWikiLogos describes the how-to.

Legacy content:
As it doesn't look like Walter Costinak will be available to work on the TWiki logo retouches any time soon, I spent a little while today generating some drop-in
TWikiLogos replacement pieces using the existing
HighResolutionLogos TWiki artwork, designed to match the layout of the originals, for the most part.
These are intended for sites with white or otherwise very light backgrounds, as they have transparency set on all but the grey image and the buttons. If you have a dark background, you can open these files in any graphics program and resave them without any transparency to preserve the white background. Someone else could also regenerate them using the different color recommended in the original samples. Or I'll do it eventually, I suppose.

These all look good! (And avoid the controversy of Platform, Collaboration, Teamwork, etc. Good job! (Of course, I have a vague recollection of some discussion of logo vs. <something>, so maybe this does not fulfill all the needs, but it seems to be a good start.)

Nice. From the pictures included, my guess will be that propred spelling is intuitive T
wiki, and not trademarked, but counterintuitive T
Wiki.
Which might be not bad think at all

I found where these should be replaced, for others who care to look: twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiLogos Thanks for putting this all together, Vito!
Oops, I found one more location when I ran the testenv script. In twiki/pub/ there is another copy of one of the Logos named wikiHome.gif. There is also a favicon.ico file at twiki/pub/ too but I don't see it used. I just did the following to make it work correctly. I hope this is the last logo location for a drop-in customized site.
cd twiki/pub/
mv wikiHome.gif wikiHome.gif.orig
ln -s TWiki/TWikiLogos/x wikiHome.gif
