TWiki Beta Release 30 Oct 2004

WARNING: This beta release (and in fact all other TWikiBetaReleases) has NOT been fixed for the SecurityAlertExecuteCommandsWithSearch hole - you would need to apply the patch in the TWikiSecurityAlertEmail. The latest SVN builds have been fixed.

Feedback on this Beta Release

Is the "Security Alert: TWiki search function allows arbitrary shell command execution" - Problem still a problem in this beta release? Or has it been fixed along with the building of the 20040902-edition of the Cairo-Release? Would it be save to use this beta release as is or would I still need to patch it?

This beta release has NOT been fixed for the SecurityAlertExecuteCommandsWithSearch hole - you would need to apply the patch on that page. The latest SVN builds have been fixed, though.
