What's up with the team lately?
--
GrantBow - 09 Jan 2003
Dunno. Haven't heard a wink out of
MikeMannix or
NicholasLee for absolutely ages.
JohnTalintyre hasn't said much of late either.
Maybe they are all out having fun!
--
MartinCleaver - 09 Jan 2003
I recall talking to
AndreaSterbini awhile ago. He indicated he is pretty busy with his work.
--
GrantBow - 09 Jan 2003
I'm still out here, but because of high work commitments I'm only able to find time for occassionaly updates on Codev and CVS - a takes a fair bit of time just to track CVS changes.
--
JohnTalintyre - 10 Jan 2003
I got an email from Mike yesterday. He's alive and doing well on farm in Ontario.
--
GrantBow - 15 Jan 2003
Err,
AndreaSterbini is a he not a she...

-- fixed, many apologies. --

I'm still alive ...

...
I am just starting a project with
FrancoBagnoli for using and extending twiki as a teaching tool.
I espect this will produce at least some plugins and code to the community (BTW, the project is GPLed).
So ... please don't count me off

Andrea, I've moved you to the hall of fame. I hope you don't mind. I just think that the core team needs to be clearly defined as focussed as possible on the core, and that's not how I read your above comment. It may be that your best position would be that of
TWikiPluginsMaster - does this fit your ambitions or are you focussed on the teaching aspects over core maintenance?
--
MartinCleaver - 14 Jun 2003
The Core Team will follow up with the hall of fame. Martin, your contributions are appreciated but this action was not appropriate.

TWikiSpecCoordinatorRole,
TWikiPatchCoordinatorRole,
TWikiReleaseManagerRole can possibly be aided by using the
WorkFlow features in TWiki starting with the
TasksWeb (though it does not need to be a seperate web) that is proposed on
RestructureCodevWorkFlow.

Martin, my
Real Life Job ™ is assistant professor at Rome Univ. ... it's obvious that I'm focussed on teaching. But lukily, I am also
using TWiki for teaching ... and this produces a lot of
usefun code for the community.
Perhaps I could apply for a
TWikiReasearcherRole position?

AndreaSterbini - 25 Aug 2003
I've not been actively developing for TWiki for some time now, in time I may move myself to the
CoreTeamHallOfFame, but for now I'm still looking to assist in the future of TWiki and might be able to resurrect some coding input.

JohnTalintyre - 14 Apr 2004
Perhaps
CrawfordCurrie could be considered for the
TWikiPluginsFacilitatorRole?

Is someone appointed for twiki.org performance, server hosting and codebase version? It doesn't seem to be described in the core member roles. Reading the table above, I thought for a moment it would be
TWikiQualityManagerRole, but that role is about code quality.
I can imagine that misunderstandings happen if someone just "pulls some switches" here. So probably better to appoint a main responsible.

This was not explicitely listed, but I see this as part of the webmaster role. I maintain the TWiki engine on TWiki.org. In the past when TWiki.org was hosted on
SourceForge we did not have server maintenance (OS & Apache); Sven took that part afer we switched to the donated Sun server. I updated
TWikiOrgWebmasterRole accordingly.

At the
FreetownReleaseMeeting2007x02x26 (26 Feb 2007) Sam Hasler has announced that he no longer have time to contribute to the TWiki project. The TWiki community thanks Sam for all the good work

The
CoreTeamRoles aren't up to date. Nor area all CoreTeamXXX topics. For example,
CrawfordCurrie should be put into
TWikiArchitectRole.
