I agree about arbitratry topic names, though, Wikipedia has shown how very useful it is to be able to do this. Subject to filtering in only a few useful punctuation characters and alphabetics for security reasons, we should allow a much wider range of topic names. Struggling to find a WikiWord is sometimes harder than just typing some extra syntax for linking, and such strained WikiWords are unlikely to be stumbled upon by accident.

I'd like to second that.

We are thinking of using TWiki as a help tool for our code. The functions in the code can look like 'fft' or 'f'. It should be possible (but not recommended) to create topic with such names as 'fft'.

This can be done with a TopicDisplayName feature.
