• CarloSchulz: Open a new bug item about the installation docs, and the others promised to help. Started at #twiki after the meeting.
  • Nothing seen. Maybe related to which directories to protect.

1. Review Urgent Bugs

• Desired outcome: Find owners to fix urgent bugs

• Bugs:Item4570 - The check on DefaultUrlHost should allow 'www' in front of a url
  • Kenneth moves {PermittedRedirectHostUrls} to just below {DefaultUrlHost} and un-expert is spiced with the doc changes required.
• Bugs:Item4918 - checkpoint-save ignores EDIT_TEMPATE
  • Michael Daum has a suggested fix in the bug item. What do you need Michael to check it in?
• Bugs:Item4898 - tmp and working dir security needs work (docco and code
  • Discussion did not lead anywhere.
• Bugs:Item4771 - TWikiUserMapping fails with Corporate SSO
  • Only remaining issue is that you cannot register when the view script is being authenticated and you are authenticated.
• Bugs:Item4802 - Reset password oops might be broken
  • Harald can reproduce when AllowLoginName? =1
• Bugs:Item4774 - When using a field type select+multi in a form used in a template topic, the field doesn't remember the selection

2. Coordinate TWiki Release 4.2

• Desired outcome: Decide on tentative dates for rc1 and production release; identify and assign action items

• Code freeze: 2007-09-20 for TWikiRelease04x02 branch on SVN
• Beta 1 release: 2007-09-20
• Beta 2 release: 2007-10-01
• Beta 3 release: 2007-11-01
• String freeze date: String updates should be limited to absolute necessary. TMCE and Save and Continue as already accepted.
  • Final string freeze is at RC1
• RC 1 release: 2007-11-?? (best case)
• Production release: 2007-11-?? (best case)

Action Items

• Next release hopefully a RC1 - date driven by fixing the urgent bugs listed above and fixing a couple of Plugin templates that enables people to test the last beta3. HistoryPlugin and CompareRevisionsAddOn are known broken (install and look). Kenneth Lavrsen will test more to identify more. Will raise bug items on each broken plugin he tests.

I will checkin the fix to Bugs:Item4918 as I haven't encountered any problems so far. The former code doesn't seem to make any sense to me or anybody else.
